"Cracking the Code" bursary |

NCVO (www.ncvo-vol.org.uk) has launched a new Bursary scheme - "Cracking the Code" - to help infrastructure organisations to improve governance through Trustee board development. Information can be found on the website www.ncvo-vol.org.uk/crackingthecode As the bursary is targeted at smaller infrastructure organisations the bursary may not prove useful to many of our local charities. However, we will try and identify those organisations that potentially may be able to use the bursary. However, the bursary supports the principles of Good Governance embedded in codes of practice. These codes are available online and in hard print and may be something those in the network should use for their development. The "Good Governance" code of practice can be downloaded free here.
